Politecnico di Torino (PDT) with 30,000 students/year is a leading Italian university, and ranked first in Italy according to the 2010 and 2011 reports by the Ministry of Education, University and Research. In particular, the multi-Scale ModeLing Laboratory - SMaLL (www.polito.it/small) - at the Energy Department is involved in the ARTEMIS project.
The mission of SMaLL is developing and solving multi-scale models by high performance computing (HPC) in future emerging technology for energy, in particular fuel cells. SMaLL has collaborations with automotive companies, such as DENSO Thermal Systems S.p.A. and Toyota Central R&D Labs.
