  • Centro Ricerche FIAT S.C.p.A. (CRF) was established in 1976 to fulfil the innovation, research and development needs expressed by FIAT Group.
    CRF uses innovation as strategic lever and attributes value to its results promoting, developing and transferring the innovative content which raises product competitiveness and distinctiveness.
    The development of effective, creative and competitive solutions is matched with technology transfer realised also by training. From this perspective, CRF supports the technological growth of Fiat Group, of its partners and of the Regions, in sectors related to vehicles and components, energy, environmentally friendly and safe mobility, telematics, new materials, mechatronics and optics. Besides the competences of the people working there, CRF offers several fully equipped labs (EMC, noise, laser, optoelectronics and microtechnologies, fluid dynamics, engines test and virtual reality).

  • Politecnico di Torino (PDT) with 30,000 students/year is a leading Italian university, and ranked first in Italy according to the 2010 and 2011 reports by the Ministry of Education, University and Research. In particular, the multi-Scale ModeLing Laboratory - SMaLL (www.polito.it/small) - at the Energy Department is involved in the ARTEMIS project.
    The mission of SMaLL is developing and solving multi-scale models by high performance computing (HPC) in future emerging technology for energy, in particular fuel cells. SMaLL has collaborations with automotive companies, such as DENSO Thermal Systems S.p.A. and Toyota Central R&D Labs.
